HOW WE PRICE OUR TINY HOMES
March 3, 2022
OUR NEW PRICING MODEL
What does it cost to build a top-quality tiny house and still keep our business running?
In today’s financial climate, dealing with the cost of goods is as shaky as an unbalanced tire on a tiny home with wheels. Believe us, neither is fun. We’ve run the numbers, backwards, forwards, sideways, up and down…any which way but loose.
We’ve come up with a new strategy that makes everyone happy. Our pricing is now based on cost of materials, labor, upgrades and operating costs.
What does this mean for you?
The price of each house is a reflection of the current costs at the time it is produced. So you might see slight variations in prices for homes that appear to be similar.
Think of it as a new car lot. 95% of the time, customers purchase a new car just as it’s built. That’s how we produce tiny homes. Our design team is very in touch with current styles and trends, so we decide what to build. Once it is built, it will be for sale. That’s it!
Now, back to the 5%. There are some people who want to have a custom order, made to their specifications. We do welcome this, however it will only constitute 5% of our production and must be one of our models.
